Role Overview:

As a PyTest Automation Tester, the primary responsibility is to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for Java/Python projects. The role involves automating CI/CD test pipelines, selecting and documenting test strategies, and identifying suitable test cases. The position requires hands-on experience with Selenium, understanding software change impacts, and using industry-leading defect management tools such as HP ALM and Jira.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and document automation test strategies
• Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using Selenium and Python (PyTest)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile environments
• Analyze software changes and optimize test coverage
• Utilize test management tools for effective defect and test case tracking
• Troubleshoot, report, and document QA processes following established best practices

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education/experience
• 3-6 years’ experience in automation testing with Java and Python

• Hands-on CI/CD integration and Agile workflows
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Collaborative approach and ability to work independently
• Excellent documentation and technical presentation skills
• Experience working in cross-functional teams on medium or large-scale projects
